Crafting the future, honouring the past
Welcome to Heritage Works, where passion for preservation meets unparalleled craftsmanship. Discover our journey, our dedication to historic buildings, and what makes us the ideal partner for your next heritage project.

Our heritage, your legacy
Heritage Works was born from a recognised need for specialist contractors in the historic building sector. We noticed there was a shortage of main contractors skilled in traditional techniques and materials, and we stepped in to fill that gap. With over 40 years of combined experience in the building trade, our team has successfully completed numerous projects for private clients, local councils, and esteemed organisations like the National Trust. We are passionate about preserving the architectural integrity of our shared history.

The heritage works difference
What sets Heritage Works apart? We are a dedicated, fairly small family company, allowing us to offer a personal touch and exceptional attention to detail on every project. We undertake all manner of jobs, from minor maintenance tasks to full-scale renovations, always approaching each with the same level of commitment. Our size enables us to maintain close communication with our clients and adapt quickly to the unique demands of heritage work, ensuring your vision is realised with expertise and care.

Our meticulous approach
Every heritage project is unique and requires a bespoke approach. At Heritage Works, we begin by thoroughly understanding the building's history, previous works, and any existing issues. This in-depth analysis is crucial in determining the best solutions going forward, ensuring that our interventions are sympathetic to the building's original character while guaranteeing its longevity. Our careful planning and execution guarantee that your heritage property receives the respect and expert care it deserves.
"Heritage Works truly cares about the legacy of these buildings. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality is evident in every single repair."
